There’s something about the springtime that evokes the urge to refresh and start anew — whether it be in our lives, in our homes, in our wardrobes or in our makeup bags. WINTER / SPRING 2020 LOOKBOOK + CONTENT UPDATE

Hey, friends. How’s everyone doing? Wow — what an intense couple of months its been! If you keep up with me on Instagram (and if you don’t, I’d love for you to join me!), you may have some insight into how quickly life has changed here in Calgary as a result of COVID-19. It’s crazy to think that we started shooting my Winter / Spring 2020 Lookbook back in February when the world was a completely different place — I was still planning outfits for all the different personal and professional situations I would typically find myself in as we transition from winter to spring. Things evolved rapidly, so I polled you on Instagram Stories to see if you’d still like to see this LOOKBOOK — and 100% of you responded yes! That said, as we heed the advice of local authorities to stay in whenever possible, I feel it’s important to share we shot these images nearly 2 months ago — and I’ve been working from home ever since to get this post ready.

Today, I’m thrilled to finally share my Winter / Spring 2020 Lookbook with you! If you’re in search of a sartorial escape from reality and a look at a handful of my favourite winter-to-spring transitional trends mashed up with wardrobe staples and practical outfit formulas, you’ve come to the right place. This LOOKBOOK features my favourite early spring outfit formulas, ideal for temperatures ranging from about 10 degrees on either side of freezing (believe it or not, it was still snowing here last week!). Lipstick lovers, I’m elated to share My Top 5 Everyday Lip Colours with you today to kick off the return of beauty content here at JustineCelina — my first dedicated BEAUTY post in nearly 2 years! I’m thrilled to introduce a brand new series called MY TOP 5, where I shared tried and true beauty staples across categories. If you follow along with my FASHION content, you’ll likely be familiar with my philosophy of investing in wardrobe staples — and that mindset also trickles into my ‘beauty wardrobe’! SPRING / SUMMER 2019 LOOKBOOK

Friends and fashionistas, I’m elated to finally share my SPRING / SUMMER 2019 LOOKBOOK with you! Despite a few delays due to our crazy weather (believe it or not, it snowed in Calgary just a few weeks ago!) we finally wrapped up shooting earlier this month and I’ve since been hard at work creating this seasonally inspired, sartorial guide for the modern woman. My 12 outfit LOOKBOOK features everything I’ve been wearing and loving in both personal and professional settings over the last couple of months and as we transition into summer! As always, it’s complete with a healthy dose of seasonal trends and practical tips on how to wear them, mashed up with classic wardrobe staples and shoppable links at every pricepoint — including the inside scoop on the best sales of the season! It’s been a major labour of love and I hope it’s been worth the wait!

Now that summer is officially upon us (although there’s no end in sight to the rain here in Calgary!), many of us Canadian girls are finally packing away our boots and knits and pulling out our warm weather pieces from years past. I always like to take this time to clean out my closet, identify holes in my seasonal wardrobe, integrate a few updated basics and experiment with new trends. TRANSITIONAL STYLE STAPLES | WINTER TO SPRING 2019

The perpetual Extreme Cold Warning finally appears to have lifted here in Calgary — and with temperatures set to rise above O°C this weekend, visions of spring are dancing through my head! Although I typically enjoy dressing for whatever weather mother nature throws our way, after experiencing the 3rd coldest February on record, I’m must admit I’m really looking forward to spring. But because of our cooler, rather temperamental climate, realistically it will be a couple of months before bare legs and open-toed shoes are on the menu. So, what’s a girl to wear while she’s longing for spring but still experiencing wintery weather?!

While I absolutely love to experiment with integrating seasonal trends into my personal style, I also believe a wardrobe built on a foundation of quality basics is essential in order to do so. This fashion philosophy has inspired me to start a brand new series called STYLE STAPLES here at JustineCelina where I’ll be sharing my most worn, most loved, workhorse wardrobe staples, season after season — the ones I would struggle to put outfits together without! Today we’re kicking things off with my favourite winter to spring transitional pieces for 2019 to help you navigate unpredictable weather in practical, stylish garments and accessories you can wear for years to come! This outfit formula works in both personal and professional settings with a few tweaks, flatters a wide range of body types and can be adapted to suit both warmer and cooler climates. SPRING 2018 TREND GUIDE | LILAC LOVE

Fashionistas, welcome back for my final TREND GUIDE of Spring 2018 — dedicated to my recent obsession with all things lilac (if you’ve been following along this spring, you probably saw this coming!). It’s been an exceptionally busy couple of weeks (I’ll be sharing some fun projects I’ve been working on BTS with you soon!), but before the lilacs faded, we managed to pop out to shoot some new style content in my hometown of Strathmore, Alberta. In fact, we squeezed this shoot into the only free hour we had on our way to Brooks to celebrate a birthday — I had to paint my nails at a sequence of red lights on my way out of the city (yes, I was driving!). All things considered, I love the way these images came out!

Regardless of current trends (or the season, for that matter!), a beautiful, flowy top (which I love so much I picked it up in 2 other colours and ordered one for my Mom!), skinny jeans, comfortable, low heels, a cute bag and a great pair of shades is what you’ll find me in on most spring weekends or casual days — another one of my go-to outfit formulas that’s ultra wearable, yet polished. But this spring, I’ve updated this classic look with a selection of seasonal trends and fresh accessories including lavender, pleats, fluted sleeves, straw bags, block heels, coin necklaces and pearls! If you want to dip your toes into the lavender trend but aren’t sure where to start, stay tuned for a few tips that will help you integrate this of-the-moment hue into your wardrobe or beauty routine this season — even if you’re not sure it’s a colour you can pull off (because you totally can!). SPRING 2018 TREND GUIDE | CHECK YOURSELF

It seems that we skipped spring entirely here in Calgary over the past 2 weeks and went straight from winter to summer — so naturally, I thought it was time to drop my first Spring 2018 TREND GUIDE on you! Admittedly, it’s difficult to keep up with our extremely bipolar climate in Alberta, let alone dress for it. Although we enjoyed many 20 ºC days in late April and early May, over the past few days we’re back to more typical spring weather — May showers included! While I was ecstatic to bust out all my open toed shoes (you can expect a SS18 SHOE GUIDE coming soon!), I also pulled together a few spring looks at the beginning of the season that have been on repeat lately — this is one of them! I never thought I’d see the day where bare legs were an option, but friends, the time has come!

I’m thrilled to bring you my Spring 2018 Trend Guide | Check Yourself — one of my favourite transitional outfit formulas for our Canadian winter-to-spring season, freshened up with a selection of key trends as we move into warmer weather (I can’t even begin to tell you how refreshing it is to not have to shoot in the snow!). I’m also sharing my favourite source for designer bag dupes — believe it or not, this Chloe Faye look alike was under $40!
