Beauty lovers, I’m absolutely elated to partner with Physicians Formula today to bring you a fresh instalment in MY TOP 5 series — My Top 5 Physicians Formula Products! Longtime readers will know I’ve featured and worn Physicians Formula products here at JustineCelina for the duration of my blogging career — but my love for the brand actually extends all the way back to my teenage years. Over the years, as my love of BEAUTY (and my makeup collection!) have grown dramatically, Physicians Formula has remained one of my favourite drugstore brands. I couldn’t be more excited to extend our partnership to the blog today as I share My Top 5 Physicians Formula Products across eye, lip and complexion categories — along with a general overview of the brand and a massive beauty giveaway (which has now closed), to provide you with the opportunity to try my favourite products, too!

Here at JustineCelina, I’m passionate about living (and promoting) at healthy lifestyle that’s attainable. A clean, plant-based diet free of dairy, gluten and refined sugar helps me manage numerous intolerances and sensitivities while also helping me look and feel my best — and whenever possible, I look for these qualities in my cosmetics as well. That said, I’m not willing to sacrifice performance at the cost of a healthy ingredients list — and Physicians Formula is my go-to brand for high-performing, natural, hypoallergenic beauty products at an accessible price point. Although it was difficult to narrow it down to just 5 for today’s post (and I may have cheated a bit!), these products remain at the core of my beauty routine year after year, as trends come and go. MAY 2020 SOUNDTRACK + LIFE UPDATE

Happy Friday eve, friends! My May 2020 Soundtrack is coming to you early this month — it’s been a bit of a grind over here as as deadlines for client work, content and taxes overlap. I’ve been working around the clock lately to get everything finished in time to head to the prairies this weekend to plant our Country Garden — and this playlist (plus lots of green tea!) have been pulling me through. In fact, it’s one of my favourite so far this year — featuring 46 inspiring, uplifting, motivating tracks spanning genres (I also had Spotify‘s Deep Focus playlist on heavy rotation!). I’ve been working away on tons of exciting new content BTS that I can’t wait to share next month and have really settled into a nice work-from-home workflow lately — things are definitely looking up!

Where do I even begin with my favourite tracks this month? I could actually list every single one — but if I had to choose, Geographer’s Slave To The Rhythm Work Drug’s Down the Shore, Weathertunes Wait For Me, Dead Horse Beats Never Too Late, Grønhaack’s Her Sleepiness, Gryffin x Noah Kahan’s Heavenly Father, Handbook’s South, Axel Mansoor’s The Other Side, Kayoh’s Northwind, Alex Baker’s Bloom, JR JR’s Cops, Presto! and SPEECHLESS’s Paradise, Glass Animal’s Dreamland, Avery Young’s Shifts of Light, Jordan Critz’s Eternity, Tom Misch & Tobie Tripp’s Day 5: For Carol, Medasin’s Slinky Man, Vacation Club’s Fire Goes Out, chitchat’s San Fransisco, Kid Froopy’s Easy Love, Purity Ring’s peacefall and Peal’s Essential Attitudes sounded especially good to my ears. MY FAVOURITE FLORAL FRAGRANCES

Fragrance lovers, I’m ecstatic to share this post with you today after an unintentional hiatus! Although I’ve always had a fondness for fragrance and have amassed quite the collection over the course of my blogging career, it’s been 3 years since I published my last dedicated FRAGRANCE post. Just as I’ve done with the return of BEAUTY content, I wanted to bring my love of fragrance back to JustineCelina in a more meaningful way — and after exploring a few different ideas, that’s exactly what I’ve done in this My Favourite Floral Fragrances post. Today I’m sharing my most worn, most loved, most complimented floral fragrances with you — the scents I have on constant rotation from February through September! If you’re in the market for a new spring fragrance or are simply craving some lighthearted beauty inspiration, you’ve come to the right place.

Spritzing on a fragrance is the cherished finishing touch in my daily beauty routine. Even on days when I’m not leaving the apartment, I never skip fragrance! WINTER / SPRING 2020 LOOKBOOK + CONTENT UPDATE

Hey, friends. How’s everyone doing? Wow — what an intense couple of months its been! If you keep up with me on Instagram (and if you don’t, I’d love for you to join me!), you may have some insight into how quickly life has changed here in Calgary as a result of COVID-19. It’s crazy to think that we started shooting my Winter / Spring 2020 Lookbook back in February when the world was a completely different place — I was still planning outfits for all the different personal and professional situations I would typically find myself in as we transition from winter to spring. Things evolved rapidly, so I polled you on Instagram Stories to see if you’d still like to see this LOOKBOOK — and 100% of you responded yes! That said, as we heed the advice of local authorities to stay in whenever possible, I feel it’s important to share we shot these images nearly 2 months ago — and I’ve been working from home ever since to get this post ready.

Today, I’m thrilled to finally share my Winter / Spring 2020 Lookbook with you! If you’re in search of a sartorial escape from reality and a look at a handful of my favourite winter-to-spring transitional trends mashed up with wardrobe staples and practical outfit formulas, you’ve come to the right place. COLOUR CRUSH | CLASSIC BLUE

Colour lovers, today I’m thrilled to bring you a fresh post in my COLOUR CRUSH series dedicated to the Pantone 2020 Colour of the Year, Classic Blue! Selected by Pantone in late 2019 for its ability to ‘instil calm, confidence, and connection, this enduring blue hue highlights our desire for a dependable and stable foundation on which to build as we cross the threshold into a new era’, it seems especially fitting given the current state of the world. I first introduced you to Classic Blue with January’s Digital Blooms (be sure to hop over to download a free, floral, Pantone 2020 inspired tech wallpaper!) and have been working with this comforting, of-the-moment hue across categories since. That said, although blue has always had a small place in my wardrobe (albeit mostly in denim and more formal attire), as someone with warm colouring, it isn’t a hue I’m typically drawn to. Longtime readers will know that each year I allow Pantone’s selections to inspire and challenge me here at JustineCelina — incorporating the Colour of the Year into my life and content in a way that’s congruent to my personal style. Fast forward to March and I’m absolutely crazy about Classic Blue — and today I’m sharing the inspiration with you!

In the midst of another Winter Storm Warning here in Calgary (and after a particularly heavy week in regards to recent news), I thought this weekend was the perfect time to put the finishing touches on a post I’ve been working on since February. As the way we live continues to change over the coming months, I want JustineCelina to remain a source of inspiration and joy for anyone who needs it — including myself! This instalment of my COLOUR CRUSH series is dedicated to Classic Blue transitional styling, starring one of my favourite casual winter-to-spring outfit formulas, perfect for chilly weather. MY TOP 5 ROSE TONED LIPSTICKS

With the promise of spring dancing on the warm Chinook breeze, I find myself looking to refresh my BEAUTY routine to reflect the transitioning seasons. You may have noticed a consistent colour story here at JustineCelina this month — I’m absolutely head over heels for all things pink and feminine, which seems to be a recurring theme each February! As we ease into spring (and through an extremely brown late winter here on the Alberta prairies), I seem to crave an extra dose of colour — in my wardrobe, my home and even in my beauty routine.
