DIGITAL BLOOMS AUGUST 2018 | FREE DESKTOP WALLPAPERS

Friends, I’m so excited to share August’s Free Tech Wallpapers with you today! Since the inception of DIGITAL BLOOMS nearly 2 and a half years ago, we’ve always incorporated your feedback into our design process — whether it be highly requested flowers, coloured backgrounds or more minimalistic designs, you asked and we delivered! One request that we’ve consistently received this year is to create more masculine or gender neutral designs — and because of the nature of flowers being inherently feminine, it we knew this one would be challenging. So, we have a bit of a curveball for you today! August’s free tech wallpapers feature a gorgeous neutral palette along with and a handful of edible produce and herbs — a first here in the JustineCelina DIGITAL BLOOMS library!

Inspired by the bounty of summer gardens, Rebecca Dawn Design and I teamed up to curate a lovely selection of Quicksand Roses, Purple Artichokes, Safari Sunset, Mini Green Artichokes, Rosemary, Hypericum and Feijoa in an fresh, earthy palette of new green, aubergine, blush and sage. DIGITAL BLOOMS JULY 2018 | FREE DESKTOP WALLPAPERS

We’re officially half way through 2018 (say what?!) and today Rebecca Dawn Design and I are marking the occasion with a Pantone 2018 Colour of the Year inspired set of Free Tech Wallpapers! You may remember the Ultra Violet Inspired Arrangement we created this past winter to explore Pantone’s selection for 2018, but we also wanted to do something summery, festive and fun. July 2018’s Digital Blooms actually feature a lovely selection of blooms and foliage we found in Rebecca’s garden! Despite the planning that goes into creating cohesive colour stories here at JustineCelina, allowing the seasons and our surroundings to inspire our FLOWER content is one of my favourite things — and it just goes to show you that beauty can be found (and created) almost anywhere. July’s DIGITAL BLOOMS go to show that foraged flowers are just as lovely as store bought blooms (remember that Foraged Prairie Wildflower Bouquet we created a couple of summers ago?!).

We’re celebrating Canada Day with a spirited selection summer’s candy coloured brights (more on this trend coming to my FASHION department soon!), juxtaposed with Pantone’s 2018 Ultra Violet. Well hey there, June! Summer is only a few weeks away and Rebecca Dawn Design and I are celebrating with the ultimate soft, dreamy, pastel, watercolour inspired edition of DIGITAL BLOOMS! I’m obviously partial to these shades as they mimic my personal brand here at JustineCelina — and I have to say this is one of my favourite sets of free floral downloads we’ve created over the years. As I’m sure you’ve noticed (just look at my content over the past couple of months!) pastels are everywhere this spring and summer, so this month we curated a dreamy selection of Willow Eucalyptus, blue Delphiniums, lavender Garden Roses, creamy Pom Pom Chrysanthemums, pink Alstroemeria, blush Hyacinths, magenta Tulips and coral Asiatic lilies to create a beautiful, watercolour inspired ombre effect. Welcome back, flower friends! Spring has finally sprung here in Calgary — and Rebecca Dawn Design and I are celebrating with another fresh, seasonally inspired edition of DIGITAL BLOOMS! This month, we focused on flowers, herbs and branches that have a wild, hand picked feeling inspired by the new growth of spring — including Pussy Willows, Delphinium, Acacia, Yellow Button and White Matricaria, Pom Pom Chrysanthemums and Lavender arranged with a sense of whimsy. DIGITAL BLOOMS APRIL 2018 | FREE DESKTOP WALLPAPERS + DIGITAL BLOOMS TURNS 2!

Happy April 1st, friends! Today marks 2 years since Rebecca Dawn Design and I teamed up to create the first edition of DIGITAL BLOOMS for you — that means we’ve created 72 free tech wallpapers to date! Rebecca and I started working together around my 1st Blogiversary to bring FLOWER content to JustineCelina and make flower education accessible — and we haven’t looked back since. Our free tech wallpapers have since become some of my most popular content — and we’re thrilled you enjoy them just as much as we enjoy creating them for you!

This month, we’ve gone monochromatic — and it’s all about lavender, shades of purple and the 2018 Pantone Colour of the Year, Ultra Violet! If you’re not quite convinced you can pull off one of spring’s hottest colour trends in your wardrobe (although, I bet you totally can!), why not take it for a test drive on the background of your computer, tablet or phone this month? DIGITAL BLOOMS MARCH 2018 | FREE DESKTOP WALLPAPERS

Spring is almost in the air… can you feel it?! Join Rebecca Dawn Design and I today in celebrating a new season with our March 2018 DIGITAL BLOOMS — inspired by Spring 2018’s vivacious selection of brights and pastels. Never before have I been so inspired by a colour palette (yep, the Pantone Spring 2018 Colour Trend Report is still giving me major heart eyes!) — I cannot wait to start wearing it and continuing to work with it across categories as the weather warms up (currently fantasizing about open toed shoes and dresses with bare legs!). Until then however, I’ll eagerly be awaiting spring’s arrival with a jubilant array of cheerful spring blooms and herbs — including these incredible, extremely rare lavender Garden Roses, Ranunculus, Lavender (which you’ll we learning more about this spring!), Alstroemeria, Matricaria, Asiatic Lilies, Ornithogalum, Double and Parrot Tulips (learn more about them here), Hyacinth, Pom Pom Chrysanthemums and Blue Delphinium. Sartorially, it’s all about the combination of brights with pastels as we transition into balmier weather — so why embrace the season’s colour trends on your digital devices as well?

DIGITAL BLOOMS FEBRUARY 2018 | FREE DESKTOP WALLPAPERS

Hey, hey flower friends! After my last post, I’m very excited to get some more lighthearted content out today! Love month is upon us — and Rebecca Dawn Design are celebrating the best way we know how — by sharing 3 free, Valentine’s Day inspired floral tech wallpapers with you! Last February, we created a special Love Edition set of DIGITAL BLOOMS prominently featuring roses — and they’ve become our most downloaded set to date. Due to overwhelming popularity, we’re keeping the love inspired theme going this year — but we’re working with more than just roses! This February, we’re combined a beautiful array of Spray Roses (learn more about them here), Panda Anemones, Dahlias, Astilbe, Astrantia, Ruby Silk Grass, Thrytptomene and Blushing Bride blooms in a dreamy, pastel palette.

As you’ve probably read, I’ve embraced the Pantone Spring 2018 Colour Trend Report this year and am feeling so inspired by blush shades and spring pastels (there will definitely be a theme here at JustineCelina this month!). For February, we’re crushing on Pink Lavender, Blooming Dahlia, Almost Mauve, Spring Crocus and Coconut Milk punctuated by Sailor Blue.
