DIGITAL BLOOMS DECEMBER 2016 | FREE TECH WALLPAPERS

December is upon us and Rebecca Dawn Design and I are here with a dose of holiday cheer — DIGITAL BLOOMS style! December’s 3 free flower-based tech wallpapers combine holiday luxe infused with a whimsical twist to pay homage to traditional Christmas decor — including wreaths, garlands and ribbon! Each design is set to a rich, jewel-toned holiday palette accented by frosted greens and icy greys. December’s Digital Blooms feature a set of flowers specific to Holiday 2016 here at JustineCelina — starring a trio of Black Magic Roses (yes, those are a thing!), Black Baccara Roses and Ruby Gem Spray Roses. Vibrant magenta Ranunculus and deep purple Anenomies, Scabiosa and Astrantia complete this dramatic medley of blooms, complimented by festive berries and greens — including Hypericum, Liqustrom, Brunia, Privet Berries, Carolina Saphire, Photina and Grevillea.

A COZY GIRLS NIGHT IN

Maybe I’m just getting older, but — wait, who am I kidding? Girls nights in are way better than girls nights out, am I right?! Give me a room full of my closest friends, some great wine and snacks, gorgeous blooms, cozy threads (and comfy pants!), good reads and a toasty fire — I’ll take that over going out any day! To celebrate the joy of staying in, Rebecca Dawn Design and I teamed this month up to share some inspiration for A Cozy Girls Night In — a snapshot of everything home decor, entertaining, flower and casual style we’re loving this autumn!

With everyone leading such busy lives, there’s truly nothing I cherish more than spending quality time with family and friends. Calgarians — can you believe this beautiful fall weather we’re experiencing?! I honestly can’t remember the last time we had such a gorgeous autumn. AN INTRODUCTION TO AUTUMN FLOWERS

The leaves are turning, the air is crisp and fall is just around the corner — who’s ready to learn about autumn flowers? I’ve partnered with Rebecca Dawn Design to make flower education accessible here at JustineCelina and today we’re continuing our FLOWER EDUCATION series with An Introduction to Autumn Flowers. While most of us tend associate flowers with the spring and summer months, fall’s cooler weather also yields gorgeous seasonal blooms — and we’re excited to share them with you!

DIGITAL BLOOMS SEPTEMBER 2016 | FREE TECH WALLPAPERS

Can you believe it’s already September 1st? It seems like summer is just flying by this year. Having said that, I’m looking forward to welcoming fall later this month! I’m also very excited to share autumn themed flower content in partnership with Rebecca Dawn Design with you over the coming months — seriously you guys, I can’t wait to publish it!

To kick off the first month of a new season, September’s DIGITAL BLOOMS incorporate some of late summer and early autumn’s prettiest flowers and foliage. Our 3 flower-based designs are inspired by the wild beauty of Indian summers and a palette of eggplant, terracotta, marsala, apricot, blush, cream and fresh greens. We’re also introducing to some brand new seasonal blooms into this series — including Stock, Eremurus, Dalihas, Astilbe, Chrysanthemums, Thlaspi and Cotinus. FORAGED PRAIRIE WILDFLOWER BOUQUET

I’ve been dreaming this post up since I first started blogging here at JustineCelina — and I’m elated to finally be able to share it with you today! Typically, people associate the mountains with wildflowers, but our Canadian prairies are brimming with wildflowers and gorgeous natural foliage, too. Rebecca loves to create foraged arrangements and bouquets whenever she travels, so I was excited to explore the prairies with her in search of some inspiring ingredients for our Foraged Prairie Wildflower Bouquet!
