JANUARY DIGITAL BLOOMS ROUNDUP | 8 FREE TECH WALLPAPERS

Flower friends, welcome back for the first post of 2022! Today marks the end of an era here at JustineCelina, as it’s the first month since DIGITAL BLOOMS‘ inception back in April 2016 that I’m not providing a new free floral wallpaper for download (yes, you read that correctly!). I spent much of 2021 letting go of things that no longer served me and making space for what’s next so I could live and work in greater alignment. This facilitated a lot of strategizing around how I could continue to grow my blog and business in 2022. Longtime readers will know I’ve mentioned I would love to extend my DIGITAL BLOOMS into a series of calendar-based digital and print products (this is something many of you have requested as well!), however, given the volume of content I previously produced each month and the resources required, it simply wasn’t possible. So, it’s time for a change! I’m pleased to announce that I’m dedicated the first few months of 2022 to carving out what’s next for JustineCelina Digital Blooms and am feeling very inspired to refocus and finally tackle the e-commerce component of my brand!

But, not to worry! My extensive archive of tech wallpapers will remain available for free download here at JustineCelina, regardless of the additional products I develop. While I work away on what’s next, each month this year I’ll publish a roundup of free floral tech wallpapers for easy browsing. Even if you’re a die hard DIGITAL BLOOMS fan, surely you haven’t downloaded each of the 8 free January tech wallpapers I’ve produced over the years, have you?! NOVEMBER 2O2O SOUNDTRACK

In need of some relaxing tunes for your next cozy evening in? Well friends, I have just the playlist! Indulge your ears in my November 2020 Soundtrack — featuring 3 hours of easy listening, ultra chill, electronic, jazzy, ambient, indie and alternative grooves to perfectly compliment a bottle of Pinot Noir in front of the fireplace. This familiar scene from our Living Room is what almost every single weekend evening has looked like since March — and although I do miss a lot of things about our life pre-COVID, I’m so grateful for this little piece of serenity amidst a chaotic world. I’ve come to treasure our quarantine Friday evenings when we put the fire on, open a bottle of wine and get lost in the world of music! MUSIC has always been an integral part of my life — and I hope my MONTHLY SOUNTRACKS bring you a bit of extra peace and joy to help ease these difficult times. DIGITAL BLOOMS NOVEMBER 2020 | FREE DESKTOP WALLPAPER

How is November already upon us?! 2020 has simultaneously felt like the longest and shortest year of my life (as I’m sure many of you can relate!) — but, as always, I’m thrilled to usher in a fresh new month with a beautiful, seasonally-inspired floral wallpaper! November 2020’s Digital Blooms celebrates the height of autumn on the Alberta prairies with an unconventional melange of locally grown and foraged flowers, wild grasses, fall foliage and berries gathered from my flower-picking adventures at Bowden SunMaze & Eagle Creek Farms and our country property. Thanks to our warm, extended autumn this year we were treated to the most magnificent and colourful landscape transformation I’ve ever witnessed — and I discovered so many plants, berries and grasses I had no idea were growing wild on our acreage!

November 2020’s Free Floral Wallpaper features Alberta grown Zinnias and Red Amaranth complimented by foraged Western Snowberries, Wood’s Rose Leaves, Broomsedge Bluestem and Garden Asparagus Foliage (and Berries!) set on a Pantone Autumn/Winter 2020/2021 Peach Nougat inspired backdrop. TRANSITIONAL SUMMER MEETS AUTUMN DECOR

Interior design lovers, I’m thrilled to welcome you back into our sun drenched Living Room for my first dedicated DWELL post of the year! So what exactly have I been up to around here? Well, to be completely transparent, all the brand partnerships I had lined up for our SPACE REFRESH series this year were postponed (some indefinitely) due to COVID. I had so many plans for our remaining rooms, along with updates to spaces you’ve already seen, but due to the current situation, they simply haven’t been possible. Instead, I’ve been focusing on making small tweaks and seasonal updates to already finished spaces so that we can fully enjoy them with all the extra time we’ve spent at home! I’m allowing things to come together naturally, ideas to ebb and flow organically and working away on our home when I feel inspired to do so — because if this pandemic has taught me anything, it’s that life doesn’t always go according to plan. Lately I’ve been cozying things up for autumn, picking up a few new key pieces and restyling items we already own in new ways, so I thought it was about time I share our Transitional Summer Meets Autumn Decor with you here at JustineCelina, if you’re doing the same and looking for inspiration!

This year we’ve opted to keep things lighter and brighter as we transition into a new season — and it feels like a perfect blend of summer and fall. It’s the magical time of year where we can enjoy the best of both summer and autumn out in nature, in our homes, on our plates and in our wardrobes — and I’m fully embracing it! Despite the pandemic’s challenges, we’ve experienced the warmest autumn I can remember — and I’ve definitely channeled that inspiration into our home this season. I love to experiment with juxtaposition in my personal style and in my home — I’m all about mixing high with low, old with new and modern with traditional. Each year, my inspiration hits an all time high as summer blends into autumn and I explore new ways to translate this seasonal shift into our inner city Calgary apartment!
