JANUARY 2018 SOUNDTRACK

And just like that, the first month of 2018 draws to a close! January was a fantastic, mindful, experimental month for me as I set and began working towards my goals and intentions for the new year (more on that here!) — and I discovered tons of new music along the way. If you’re looking for some fresh tunes and an easy listening playlist to help you make the most of 2018, my January 2018 Soundtrack has you covered — featuring 60 tracks from some new and very well loved artists. As always, it’s a chill, eclectic mix of genres that’s been blasting through my speakers all month as I putter away on various creative projects!

DECEMBER 2017 SOUNDTRACK + BONUS 2017 SOUNDTRACK

To send the last day of 2017 off in style, I have not one, but two fresh playlists for you today, friends! First up, my December Soundtrack — an eclectic, chill playlist featuring 45 of my favourite tracks from the month. Standouts include XYLØ’s Alive, Half an Orange’s Downtown, Bien’s Crowd Goes Wild, Brett’s Emperor Tho, Sundrenched’s Doesn’t Really Matter Honestly, Handsome Ghost’s Reckless Lover, a lovely, electronic rendition of The Shins New Slang, Bearson and Natalola’s One Step at a Time, DMX and Divine Bar’s Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer (a ridiculous song that we had on repeat during holiday parties!), Kasbo’s Snow in Gothenburg, MIA GLADSTONE’s Hold It Down, Koresma’s Fork in the Road, Garden City Movement’s Slightly All The Time and The Kite String Tangle’s The Devil You Know.

NOVEMBER 2017 SOUNDTRACK

And just like that, another month has flown by (how is 2017 almost over?!). Welcome back for another monthly soundtrack, where I compile all my most listened to tracks in one tidy little playlist for you to enjoy! My November 2017 Soundtrack is an eclectic, 50 song playlist featuring tons of new artists and a melange of different genres — we’re talking everything from electronic to indie and hip hop to instrumental. This month, there’s even a new track from an artist who personally reached out to thank me for including one of his tunes in a previous playlist (I’m totally digging Infinitefreefall’s newest release, Belonging, which you’ll have the pleasure of listening to today!). Now that’s what JustineCelina is all about!

OCTOBER 2017 SOUNDTRACK

Happy Halloween, everyone! I know I say this every time I publish a monthly soundtrack but I seriously can’t believe another month has flown by. October was a very full month for me in terms of content creation for JustineCelina, client work and a couple of larger projects I’ve been working on behind the scenes (that I hope to show you very soon!). I also cut a fringe and have been focusing on welcoming new experiences, projects and ideas into my life lately — hence our impromptu trip to the Alberta Badlands, where this shot was taken along side the Red Deer River near the Star Mine Suspension Bridge (isn’t the landscape absolutely stunning?)! My October 2017 Soundtrack was blasting the whole time — a chill, easy listening, 2.5 hour playlist full of good vibes to inspire your next adventure, work or anything else you need some great background music for. As per usual it’s a mash up of everything that sounded good to my ears this past month as I puttered away on various creative projects (and roadtripped all over Alberta and British Columbia!).

SEPTEMBER 2017 SOUNDTRACK

Happy Saturday, everyone! I’m really not quite sure how it’s the last day of September… but that means it’s time for a fresh playlist! September was an extremely busy month for me and this was the soundtrack that kept me going as it roared by. My September 2017 Soundtrack is a 3 hour playlist of everything that delighted my ears last month — from easy listening instrumental, to emerging alternative, to chill deep house to a sprinkling of hip hop and R&B. There are also new releases from a couple of my favourite artists this month, including Alt-J and ODESZA. AUGUST 2017 SOUNDTRACK

With my favourite month of the year coming to a close, I bring you my August 2017 Soundtrack! Fear not friends, there are still over 20 days of summer officially left, so let’s enjoy them! These 55 tracks were the background music to all my August adventures — and there were many. From embarking on our huge paint-a-thon to spending a couple of weekends out of the city, to lots of exciting projects on the go and the behind the scenes grind (autumn is going to be an exciting time!), this playlist fueled a very productive month. My soundtracks make for great working, thinking and creating music — so if you’re looking for a little audible inspiration during the day, give my 3 hour, 46 minute August 2017 Soundtrack a listen! JULY 2017 SOUNDTRACK

Somehow, July is almost over (can summer please stay forever?) and that means I have a fresh playlist in store for you today! My July 2017 Soundtrack is 3 hours and 15 minutes of blissed out, daydreamy tunes. As always, it’s a pretty eclectic mix and as always, it’s easy on the ears! July was full on and this was the background music to my daily adventures — I hope you enjoy these 51 tracks as much as I have lately!

So, what sounded especially good to my ears this month? I’m glad you asked! July’s standout tracks included Sorcha Richardson’s 4AM, Van Common’s This Afternoon, Neon Indian’s Deadbeat Summer (I know it’s ancient, but I love it!), Pool Cosby’s Laniki, Work Drugs’ Alternative Facts (at first for the name alone… but it’s a great tune!), Bien’s Stars Across the Sky, CLAAV’s Electric Feel (a super striped down version of the original), Blood Culture’s Moon, Pierce Fulton and NVDES Better Places, alt-J’s Dancing in the Moonlight, The Analog Affairs’ The New Shit, Aso’s Loungin, ODESZA and Naomi Wild’s Higher Ground, Loke Lore’s Goodpain, Hatchie’s Try, Tourist and Ardyn’s We Stayed Up All Night, Carl Louis’s Matinee, Khalid and GoldLink’s Let’s Go, Bayonne and Gigamesh’s Fallss, Your Song is Good’s Cruise, Polo and Pan’s Nana (the whole album is amazing!), Rosemary Fairweather’s Chemicals and Poolside’s Everything Goes. Spotify also compiled a Summer Rewind playlist for me this month featuring some old summer favourites — and I have to say, it’s killer.
