AUGUST 2017 BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Well hello, beautiful souls! It’s been a minute, hasn’t it?! Not to worry — I’m back today with another Monthly Beauty Favourites post! The first part of September has been very busy with client work, so this post is coming to you a little late. That said, it’s packed full of some great new beauty finds and rediscovered products across eye, cheek, lip, complexion and nail categories, so I hope it was worth the wait. I’m definitely starting to transition into more autumnal makeup but have been enjoying lighter, fresher lip colours — so I guess we have a little bit of a summer-meets-fall vibe happening again today (there’s definitely a theme here at JustineCelina this month!).

ICED COCONUT GINGER MATCHA LATTE

If you follow along with my Insta Stories, you’ve likely seen me sipping away on my fair share of iced matcha lattes this summer! As someone who works from home most of the time, I’ve concocted quite a few homemade latte recipes over the years — but since they’re so simple I always thought they weren’t worth sharing here at JustineCelina. When I snapped a quick photo of my afternoon Iced Coconut Ginger Matcha Latte a few weeks ago, I was totally surprised by the response (who knew my most requested recipe to date would be a homemade latte?). Well — ask and you shall receive, my friends! If you have 5 minutes and 5 ingredients, you too can enjoy these refreshing iced lattes in the comfort of your own home.

Today I’m thrilled to be partnering with Kiwami Greens (a plant based, nutrient-rich Japanese vegetable powder) to bring you my Iced Coconut Ginger Matcha Latte — a tea latte infused with superfood ingredients to power your day with clean energy. Although delicious, traditional matcha lattes can be time consuming to prepare and require special tools, but my Iced Coconut Ginger Matcha Lattes truly couldn’t be easier. I believe you can nourish yourself and treat yourself at the same time — and this powerhouse matcha latte is a healthy indulgence you can feel great about. APRIL 2017 BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Today’s Monthly Beauty Favourites is a bit different from the norm — believe it or not, there’s no makeup included! With my finger injury derailing the past couple of weeks, to be completely honest, putting on makeup when I didn’t need to wasn’t high on my priority list. Since I spent half of April laying low and healing up, as you can imagine it was pretty low key beauty wise! For the first part of the month, I immersed myself in fragrance for my Spring / Summer 2017 Fragrance Edit and was in final testing stages for the Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Liquid Lip Crème post I published mid month. Other than that, experimenting with new beauty products when everything took at least twice as long to do with an injured finger just didn’t interest me — so I took some much needed, makeup free downtime. It was refreshing!

For a completely different change of pace, my April 2017 Beauty Favourites posts is short and sweet with just 3 products included — but they’re 3 products I used almost daily this past month. Learn more about an indulgent, natural, vegan lotion, a stunning new fragrance (those of you who’ve been following along with my Insta Stories recently may already know what I’m talking about!) and a great eyelash curler. MARCH 2017 BEAUTY FAVOURITES + BLOG HOUSEKEEPING

Hey guys — welcome back for another Monthly Beauty Favourites post! As you may have gathered, the last couple of months have been intense BEAUTY wise here at JustineCelina — I’m elated to continue my partnership with Sephora Canada into 2017 and have been testing products like crazy. I’ve also been testing new drugstore products as well (if you joined me over on Insta Stories one random Friday afternoon last month where I unboxed and gave my first impressions on a ton of new goodies I picked up from Wet n Wild, you know what I’m talking about!). My March 2017 Beauty Favourites are a mixture of new high end obsessions and new drugstore obsessions — there’s something for everyone!

And now, for some blog housekeeping. Back in my New Year, New Goals: Cultivating a Balanced 2017 post, I mentioned a number of things I was investigating to aid me in working smarter this year. I’ve been experimenting with new structures, programs, workflows and tools behind the scenes here at JustineCelina this year — and you’ll see the first of the changes roll out in today’s post (I’m excited to share them with you — but I’m still learning, so it’s a work in progress!).
