Good morning, flower friends! I’m thrilled to bring you October 2020’s Free Floral Wallpaper today — featuring an entirely local selection of flowers, wild grasses and foraged prairie foliage in celebration of harvest season. Last month you read all about our trip to Bowden SunMaze & Eagle Creek Farms where I handpicked the flowers you’ll see in my Autumn 2020 Digital Blooms here at JustineCelina — and I couldn’t be more excited to begin sharing them with you! My first u-pick flower experience was absolutely magical and I had so much fun strolling up and down the rows, clippers in hand, curating ingredients for my upcoming FLOWER content. That weekend, I foraged our country property for wild additions as the fall colours were just starting to trickle in to the landscape — and I came home with a bucket full of wild grasses, berries and early autumn foliage to play with. I also spent the weekend painting some new custom backdrops in a palette inspired by the Pantone Autumn/Winter 2020/2021 Colour Trend Report, which you’ll see in my content moving forward — starting with October 2020’s Digital Blooms!
I hope you’re not sick of Sunflowers just yet — because this month’s DIGITAL BLOOMS features both yellow and brown centred varieties, complimented by Yellow Zinnias, Sulfur Cosmos, Goldenrod, Starry False Lily of the Valley, Rosehips and Crested Wheatgrass whimsically arranged on an Pantone inspired Rose Tan background. Each component of October’s free tech floral wallpaper is currently growing right here in Alberta, capturing the fleeting beauty of late summer blooms as we transition into early autumn’s berry season. Embrace this seasonal shift on the background of your desktop computer, laptop, tablet or mobile phone by simply clicking through to download October 2020’s Digital Blooms — absolutely free! Here’s to enjoying the beauty of this season digitally, as well.

[…] Flower friends, I’m back today with an impromptu (but lovely!) post about our recent trip to Bowden SunMaze & Eagle Creek Farms! Whether you’ve followed along for just a couple of weeks or a couple of years, you’ll know how much I adore sunflowers. From bringing them into our home, to incorporating them into my FLOWER content, to road-tripping to see fields of these sunny blooms, sunflowers have graced the pages of JustineCelina many times! We actually made our first trip to Bowden SunMaze a couple of years ago, but it ended up being a stormy night and we didn’t have as much time there as we’d hoped for. We knew we wanted to visit again to properly take in their beauty and explore the farm — and were thrilled to have the opportunity to do so last Friday evening! My Mom, little sister and I headed north to visit Eagle Creek Farms for an unconventional girls night, to catch a glimpse of their renowned sunflower fields at sunset — and it was an absolutely beautiful evening. I was also delighted to find their U-Pick Flower Fields were in full bloom, where I handpicked an autumn-inspired bouquet, which I used to create upcoming DIGITAL BLOOMS (which are now live!). […]
