OCTOBER BEAUTY FAVOURITES

It was beauty overload here at JustineCelina headquarters last month — in the best way possible! October marked the beginning of my partnership with Sephora Canada and I published my first two posts in a series of six that we’ll be working on together this year. As you can imagine, there was a whole lot of liquid lipstick and fragrance testing going down last month as part of my research for my 5 Liquid Lipsticks to Try This Fall and Autumn / Winter 2016 Fragrance Edit posts (have you read them yet?!). So naturally, most of my October Beauty Favourites are liquid lipsticks and fragrances!

In October I fell in love with three gorgeous liquid lipsticks in fall’s hottest shades — as well as a vampy, demi-matte traditional lipstick. I also gravitated towards two beautiful fragrances and discovered the best liquid black eyeliner I’ve ever tried! OCTOBER SOUNDTRACK

Need a fresh playlist for the weekend? I’ve got you covered with 62 of my favourite tracks from the month! October was another very busy month for me with lots of exciting new projects on the go — a couple that you’ve seen already and a few that are still around the corner! I also had tons of photoshoots this month and relied on this soundtrack to keep the momentum going (expect so much fresh collaborative content to roll out here at JustineCelina before year end!). AUTUMN / WINTER 2016 FRAGRANCE EDIT

My love of fragrance extends as far back as early childhood. I’m sure most of us remember watching our mothers perched at their vanities, applying perfume — the finishing touch that completed their transformation. I was always enthralled by that process, even as a young girl. Fragrance has always had a special allure for me and over the years I’ve collected quite a few favourites. In my eyes, there’s nothing more feminine or sophisticated than a captivating scent. Even on more natural days, I always apply a fragrance in the morning — it’s a luxurious part of my routine that helps set the tone for my day. The right fragrance always gives me a burst confidence and makes me feel empowered!

AUTUMN ENERGIZER JUICE

You guys, these are some busy times. I’m definitely no stranger to hard work — but without a doubt, these last few months have been the busiest of our lives. And while I’m grateful for the work and opportunities, there’s really only so long you can burn the candle at both ends before things start to fall apart, health wise. After awhile, there’s a point when coffee and tea can no longer help me and what I really need is sleep. At times like these I find myself turning to fresh juice to give myself an extra immunity boost!

Despite my busy schedule, I pride myself on being a healthy person and taking the best care of myself that I can through diet and exercise. Thankfully, I rarely get sick. So when I woke up on Friday feeling run down with a little tickle in my throat, I knew I had to get handle on it! It’s Sunday and I feel much better now — but this past week I came up with a new fresh juice recipe that I wanted to share with you. My Autumn Energizer Juice combines traditional autumn produce with unconventional ingredients — resulting in sweet, creamy, energizing juice with a spicy, warming kick! AUTUMN 2016 TREND GUIDE | NEW ROMANTIC

I’m so excited to share the first post in a of a series of AUTUMN 2016 TREND GUIDES here at JustineCelina, where I’m breaking down this seasons biggest trends and showing you how to wear them! I’ve mentioned previously that fall is my favourite time of year for many reasons and fashion in definitely one of them. There’s just something about autumn that makes me want to start anew and refresh my wardrobe to reflect current trends — so today I’m sharing a few of the updates I’ve made and how I like to style my new additions. Today we’re chatting about the new romantic trend and combining 70’s inspired fall florals, waistcoats, rich reds, military greens, statement sleeves, mini bags, velvet, matte lips, chokers, shades of grey, over the knee boots and suede to achieve the look!
