GOLDEN KIWI PIÑA COLADA POPSICLES

Happy Saturday! Today I’m sharing the recipe for my Golden Kiwi Piña Colada Popsicles — a nourishing summer treat made with freshly blended tropical fruit, nutritious greens and decadent coconut cream. These popsicles are all-natural, vegan and free of refined sugar and gluten. Although they taste like a tropical cocktail, they’re made with just 5 ingredients and they’re fun, quick and easy to prepare! They’re picky eater tested and kid approved, making them family friendly and a perfect sweet indulgence for hot summer days. I’ve said it many times here at JustineCelina, but I believe you can nourish and treat yourself at the same time. These cheerful summer popsicles are packed full of so many amazing vitamins and nutrients — largely in part to the gorgeous, golden kiwis used in this recipe. What better way to welcome a new month than with some new beauty goodies? I was splitting my time last month between my home in Calgary and my childhood home in rural Alberta, so I’ve really been able to get a handle on some new products that I packed in my makeup bag to test out. JUNE SOUNDTRACK

My June Soundtrack is a 75 track playlist full of dreamy, summery tunes and good vibes! If you’re looking for a fresh soundtrack for roadtrips, summer parties or just some great background music for sunny days I’ve got you covered. A few standout tracks this month include a cool rendition of Sixpence None The Richer’s Kiss Me (anyone else remember that song from our teenage years?), Cold by Grabbitz feat. LAYNE, Sniffle Party’s Peach Dream and Seven Strangers by 90 Pounds of Pete. I also fell hard for Brett‘s album Mode and added 5 of my favourite songs to June’s Soundtrack. If you’re looking for some serenity on this Sunday afternoon you’ve come to the right place! Today’s post is a super relaxed one where I’m sharing my must-haves for natural, airy, summer style. These are the wardrobe staples I truly feel most comfortable in and like to throw on when I’m just chilling out! Whether I’m dressed up or dressed down I’ve always had a major soft spot for light, flowy fabrics and natural textures. I’ve been living in these breezy basics during my time in the prairies this summer — I know I can throw them on when comfort is a must, but so is looking cute and pulled together. I also chat about stepping up my casual shoe game and share my current favourite pair for weekend adventures! Take a break from the hustle of everyday life for a few minutes, pour yourself a cup of tea and come hang out amoung the fields of wheat and trickling streams near my childhood home in rural Alberta!

SUMMER SOLSTICE DINNER PARTY

Summer is officially here and I can’t think of a better reason to pick up a bottle of wine and invite your friends over for dinner! Tonight’s post is a fun and feminine tablescape I created with Rebecca Dawn Design to celebrate the dawn of summer.

Inspired by the merging seasons we’ve combined the blossoming branches of spring with summer’s colourful blooms, accented with aztec textiles, gold accents and of course some rosé — because I can’t be stopped! I’m also sharing my tips for pulling together an eclectic tablescape with budget friendly and thrifted decor, because I believe unique celebrations don’t have to come with an extravagant price tag. Come gather around my dining table and let’s chat summer entertaining!

ROSÉ LYCHEE ELDERFLOWER SANGRIA

It would be an understatement to say that I’ve been on a bit of a rosé kick lately. And if you know me at all, you’ll know I really love sangria. So this summer, I decided to create a refreshing rosé sangria with floral, fruity notes to unite my favourite beverages! My Rosé Lychee Elderflower Sangria is a flirty, feminine twist on traditional sangria where an effervescent, dry rosé takes center stage, complimented by flavours of lychee, elderflower, lemon, white peach and strawberry (with lots of bubbles!). These pretty wine cocktails are best enjoyed with friends — whether you’re dining al fresco, hosting a summer dinner party, attending a baby shower, or prepping drinks for girls night! Yes way, rosé!
