DIGITAL BLOOMS SEPTEMBER 2017 | FREE DESKTOP WALLPAPERS

Flower loving friends, the first month of autumn is upon us — and we’re easing into it slowly here at JustineCelina with September 2017’s Free Desktop Wallpapers! This month, Rebecca Dawn Design and I were inspired by the PANTONE Fall 2017 Fashion Color Report for September’s DIGITAL BLOOMS (yes, we’re back on those Pantone Colour Reports again… expect to become very familiar with this one over the next few months and I work with this palette across categories!). This month’s free floral wallpapers are a little bit summer and a little bit fall, just like this gorgeous month — I think they’re my favourite set yet!

September has us lusting after Pantone’s Ballet Slipper, Butterum, Autumn Maple, Golden Lime, Tawny Port and Neutral Grey — I’m crazy about those deep tones and warm neutrals accent by pops of blush and grey to keep things light and airy as we transition into Autumn 2017. SUMMER TO AUTUMN 2017 TREND GUIDE | ORANGE CRUSH

I’m strutting into September with fresh TREND GUIDE for this transitional time of year! Today I’m sharing a versatile look that I’ve worn many times this summer in both personal and professional settings — and I’m also showing you how to style it into the first days of autumn. I’m planning to enjoy summer for as long as I possibly can — the weather is exceptionally beautiful here in Calgary (there was actually a heat warning on the day we shot this post and it was 34 °C!) and therefore I’m going to utilize every possible opportunity to wear sandals and open toed shoes (Canadian girls, I know you feel me)!

In this pre-fall look, I’m merging a handful of key trends from Summer / Autumn 2017 — including orange, butterum, eyelet, embroidery, cork and natural textured accessories, bright whites, strappy sandals and tailored, wide leg trousers. I’m finally showing off my birthday present here at JustineCelina (to myself, from myself!) — the absolutely stunning, Gaia’s Ark Bamboo Clutch (which has been on heavy rotation in my summer wardrobe but hasn’t yet made it to the blog!). I’m also sharing autumn styling options by simply changing up my accessories to include an office appropriate, daytime bag that doubles as a briefcase, gorgeous tasseled pumps a classic watch! And last but not least, it’s that time of year again — today I’m introducing you to the PANTONE Fall 2017 Fashion Color Report and chatting about how you can incorporate fall colour trends into your wardrobe right now to extend the life of your favourite summer pieces as we transition into autumn. ICED COCONUT GINGER MATCHA LATTE

If you follow along with my Insta Stories, you’ve likely seen me sipping away on my fair share of iced matcha lattes this summer! As someone who works from home most of the time, I’ve concocted quite a few homemade latte recipes over the years — but since they’re so simple I always thought they weren’t worth sharing here at JustineCelina. When I snapped a quick photo of my afternoon Iced Coconut Ginger Matcha Latte a few weeks ago, I was totally surprised by the response (who knew my most requested recipe to date would be a homemade latte?). Well — ask and you shall receive, my friends! If you have 5 minutes and 5 ingredients, you too can enjoy these refreshing iced lattes in the comfort of your own home.

Today I’m thrilled to be partnering with Kiwami Greens (a plant based, nutrient-rich Japanese vegetable powder) to bring you my Iced Coconut Ginger Matcha Latte — a tea latte infused with superfood ingredients to power your day with clean energy. Although delicious, traditional matcha lattes can be time consuming to prepare and require special tools, but my Iced Coconut Ginger Matcha Lattes truly couldn’t be easier. SUMMER 2017 TREND GUIDE | WEEKEND WEAR

Welcome back for another SUMMER 2017 TREND GUIDE, everyone! It’s been a beautiful summer here in Calgary and personally, I’m not even close to being ready for fall. I said the same thing last summer, but fall doesn’t officially arrive for over a month and I’m in absolutely no rush to get there. So while the fashion industry (and many fellow bloggers ) are gearing up for autumn, here at JustineCelina I’m planning to enjoy summer for as long as possible! You can expect one more SUMMER 2017 TREND GUIDE later this month, along with a new post in my WHAT TO WEAR TO series — this time, I’m styling a look for late summer weddings.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves! My goal through publishing these TREND GUIDES is to keep you (and myself!) up to speed on the latest trends while also staying true to my personal style. And I’m sure by now, you must understand my love of white, stripes and oversized straw bags! Although this look features a lot of the same trends as my Spring 2017 Trend Guide | Casual Chic (which I styled for more professional settings), this is a look I’d typically reserve for weekends. And if I’m honest, I’ve repeated this exact outfit several times already this summer! Hang onto summer a little longer today as I chat about how to style breezy stripes, summer whites, embellished straw bags (I actually DIYed this one!), straw, rattan and jute accessories, espadrilles and boho braids in this relaxed weekend look!

JULY 2017 BEAUTY FAVOURITES

How was your August long weekend, beautiful people? If you follow along with my Insta Stories, you’ll know we painted our living room, dining room and kitchen (about 700 square feet!) this weekend to kick off our Space Refresh (read more our plans here until it rolls out on the blog later this year) and I spent the entire weekend (including my birthday!) makeup free and covered in paint. So as you can imagine, it feels fantastic to wash the paint out of my hair and publish my July 2017 Beauty Favourites today!

July actually turned out to be relatively low key beauty wise, but still full of some great products I can’t wait to share with you. This past month, I finally finished my testing and am ready to recommend skincare that isn’t Paula’s Choice (I know — shocker right? I’ve been testing it since February and it’s fantastic!), an invigorating, sugar based body scrub (perfect for polishing away those last bits of fake tan!), a beautifully clean summer scent, the perfect contour powder to compliment a summer glow, another fantastic drugstore mascara, completely fell for Urban Decay’s Naked Heat Palette (it’s a must for us green eyed gals!) and rediscovered a highlighter from Colourpop (why did it take me so long to appreciate this unique, glossy formula?!). Ladies and gents, pour yourself a chilled glass of vino and pull up a seat at my vanity tonight for another Monthly Beauty Favourites post!

SUMMER 2017 MEGA SHOE GUIDE | 30 PAIRS!

Shoe lovers, you’re in for a treat today! I’m thrilled to bring you my SUMMER 2017 MEGA SHOE GUIDE — the largest SHOE GUIDE yet here at JustineCelina including 30 pairs (yes, really!) of on trend shoe options for Summer 2017. I think it’s fair to say I’m a shoe girl! I love publishing shoe related content because it’s so inclusive — everyone looks and feels great in a fantastic pair of shoes. Shoes are my favourite accessory; the right pair totally completes an outfit and gives me an extra spring in my step! And not to worry — there are lots of flat, comfortable styles included as well. As I mentioned back in January, I’ve been on a mission to rebuild my wardrobe with quality basics this year, and I definitely identified a hole in my shoe wardrobe in the flat department. JUNE 2017 BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Hey beautiful people — welcome back for another Monthly Beauty Favourites! June was a fun month here at JustineCelina, packed with events, roadtrips, and absolutely gorgeous weather. Summer has definitely arrived in Calgary and I’ve been taking every opportunity I can to get outside and enjoy it! In June I experimented with a lot of seasonal trends in the beauty department and really pushed the boundaries of what type of what type of products I incorporated into my routine. It creative month for me beauty wise — and it was a blast!
