SUMMER 2017 MEGA SHOE GUIDE | 30 PAIRS!

Shoe lovers, you’re in for a treat today! I’m thrilled to bring you my SUMMER 2017 MEGA SHOE GUIDE — the largest SHOE GUIDE yet here at JustineCelina including 30 pairs (yes, really!) of on trend shoe options for Summer 2017. I think it’s fair to say I’m a shoe girl! I love publishing shoe related content because it’s so inclusive — everyone looks and feels great in a fantastic pair of shoes. Shoes are my favourite accessory; the right pair totally completes an outfit and gives me an extra spring in my step! And not to worry — there are lots of flat, comfortable styles included as well. MAY 2017 BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Man it feels good to publish this May 2017 Beauty Favourites post! Since I spent a large part of March barefaced due to my finger injury and published my first ever completely makeup free Monthly Beauty Favourites post, this past month I really enjoyed experimenting with makeup again and discovered so many incredible new products. May was packed full of events (both blog related and personal) and I took every available opportunity to get my glam on — so you’ll find a healthy dose of glow and sparkle in my May beauty favourites! There’s range of products at affordable and luxury price points in today’s post — including a stunning rose gold highlighter (for less than $5!), my favourite lipsticks of the entire year, a bargain, go-with-anything nude lipliner, the perfect blush palette for a youthful spring flush, some extremely luxurious eyeshadows, a pastel lilac nail polish with nourishing ingredients and a metallic, glittery liquid eyeshadow!

There’s a strong peach, pink and rose gold theme in my favourites today — what can I say, I’ve been immersing myself in seasonal colour trends in full force! It’s been awhile since we chatted all things beauty, but you remember the drill, right? MAY 2017 SOUNDTRACK

Hey music lovers! Welcome back for another Monthly Soundtrack as we bid May adieu. I spent a lot of time in the mountains this month, between a last minute trip to Banff for Mother’s Day, to a wedding in Canmore and a Sunday spent exploring nature and enjoying this beautiful weather. I shot this month’s album cover on top of Sulphur Mountain, overlooking the Canadian Rockies!

Summer is in full swing here in Calgary and each season I look forward to updating my wardrobe with a few new pieces! Although I love colour, today’s post is inspired by some new, neutral items I’ve picked up recently that have been on heavy rotation. I’m highlighting my favourite new accessories in a neutral, versatile colour palette and chatting about how I incorporate new pieces into my wardrobe to update old favorites. I also chat pairing a statement lip with neutral outfits to punch them up and add a pop of colour (because you know I can’t get enough purple lips lately)! DIY | DISTRESSED BOYFRIEND JEANS

Feeling crafty this weekend? Today I’m showing you how to rough up a pair of denim to achieve the distressed look we’re seeing everywhere this spring! The best part about distressing a pair of jeans you currently own is the denim is already perfectly worn in — and you can totally customize it to your preference! I’ve owned this pair of jeans for about 6 years, but they’re a little too short for me to wear with heels, so I figured I’d get a lot more wear out of them if I distressed them and cropped them a bit. Voila — now I have the perfect pair of spring boyfriends, and I’ve been wearing them constantly! You only need about an hour and a few tools to complete this DIY (and you probably have the tools at home)! POMEGRANATE HIBISCUS SALMON SALAD + MY PHOTO STYLING PROCESS

Who else is sick of winter?! I know I’ve definitely been craving some colour in my life lately! So this week, I’ve teamed up with Litehouse Foods and The Food Bloggers of Canada to bring you a fresh, colourful entrée salad recipe that can be on your table is less than half an hour! My Pomegranate Hibiscus Salmon Salad combines mixed greens and peppery arugula with strawberries, yellow peppers, mandarin oranges, dried cranberries, almonds and red onions — topped with a fresh fillet of wild sockeye salmon. It’s created with Litehouses’s Pomegranate Hibiscus Dressing, from their new Green Garden line. I also give you a behind-the-scenes look into my creative process of shooting and styling imagery for photoshoots and blog posts!
