Well, hello May! It’s time to welcome a new month here at JustineCelina with a fresh set of DIGITAL BLOOMS. To keep things interesting this spring, we’ve drawn our inspiration from the Spring 2017 Pantone Fashion Color Report and will be celebrating a new on trend hue each month this season! Last month we were obsessed with blush and neutral shades — but this May, it’s all about yellow. Yellow is one of this season’s biggest colour trends and one of my personal favourites to wear, so I had a blast translating this jubilant hue to our spring FLOWER content!

Today Rebecca Dawn Design and I are showcasing a spectrum of sunny yellow shades — from the softest buttercreams to the freshest lemons to the most vibrant canaries. SPRING / SUMMER 2017 FRAGRANCE EDIT

Welcome back for another installment of my seasonal FRAGRANCE EDIT! This time, I’m sharing my top recommendations for Spring / Summer 2017 — the fragrances I love to wear as we transition into warmer weather and sunshiny days! I like to go lighter, brighter and fresher in both my beauty routine and fragrance rotation during the spring and summer, transitioning my fragrance collection along with the seasons. MARCH 2017 BEAUTY FAVOURITES + BLOG HOUSEKEEPING

Hey guys — welcome back for another Monthly Beauty Favourites post! As you may have gathered, the last couple of months have been intense BEAUTY wise here at JustineCelina — I’m elated to continue my partnership with Sephora Canada into 2017 and have been testing products like crazy. I’ve also been testing new drugstore products as well (if you joined me over on Insta Stories one random Friday afternoon last month where I unboxed and gave my first impressions on a ton of new goodies I picked up from Wet n Wild, you know what I’m talking about!). My March 2017 Beauty Favourites are a mixture of new high end obsessions and new drugstore obsessions — there’s something for everyone!

And now, for some blog housekeeping. Back in my New Year, New Goals: Cultivating a Balanced 2017 post, I mentioned a number of things I was investigating to aid me in working smarter this year. I’ve been experimenting with new structures, programs, workflows and tools behind the scenes here at JustineCelina this year — and you’ll see the first of the changes roll out in today’s post (I’m excited to share them with you — but I’m still learning, so it’s a work in progress!). DIGITAL BLOOMS APRIL 2017 | FREE DESKTOP WALLPAPERS + DIGITAL BLOOMS TURNS 1!

April 1st is an exciting day here at JustineCelina headquarters — it’s been exactly 1 year since Rebecca Dawn Design and I teamed up to create the first edition of DIGITAL BLOOMS for you! There have been so many milestones to celebrate this past month, but this is a very special one. I feel incredibly grateful to continue to work with Rebecca to bring FLOWER content to JustineCelina and make flower education accessible. We are so very lucky to be able to learn from the best!

To set the tone the 1st Anniversary Edition of Digital Blooms, we drew inspiration from the Spring 2017 Pantone Fashion Color Report. Blush, neutral and muted tones are trending this spring — and they just happen some of mine and Rebecca’s favourites! April 2017’s 3 digital wallpapers feature an array of quintessential spring blooms including Ranunculus (and those gorgeous, oversized Japanese Ranunculus!), Lisianthus, Hellebores and Pieris set to a spring inspired palette of soft blush, peach and mauve shades. DIGITAL BLOOMS MARCH 2017 | FREE DESKTOP WALLPAPERS

It’s March 1st and that means it’s time for another installment of DIGITAL BLOOMS, where I team up with my friend and ultra talented flower designer Rebecca Dawn Design each month to create 3 free desktop wallpapers! Except… plot twist — this month, there aren’t any flowers! March is going to be an incredibly exciting month here at JustineCelina for a few reasons — first, it’s my Blogiversary month (I hit publish on my very first post almost 2 years ago!), it’s the first month of spring (hallelujah!) and I have some amazing plans in the works (including travel — and you’re coming with me!). I think you may be able to tell from all the exclamation points in this paragraph just how thrilled I am to be able to share all of this with you!

March seems like the perfect time to celebrate Pantone’s Colour of the Year for 2017, Greenery (are you sick of hearing me yammer on about Greenery yet?!), by incorporating this refreshing and revitalizing shade, symbolic of new beginnings, into March’s Digital Blooms. Pantone coined 2017’s it hue as ‘nature’s neutral’ and this month we’re showing it off with an array of exotic green foliage! While we may not see the first signs of spring’s natural greenery in Calgary this month, we can refresh our digital devices with this reviving, restoring and renewing hue. ALL ABOUT ROSES

Well hello, everyone! It’s been a week since my last blog post — I took the long weekend off from blogging to enjoy some quality rest and relaxation — and it was absolutely fantastic! I headed to the mountains on Saturday for a peaceful drive, a much needed massage at my favourite spa and an incredible meal. I also slept in, caught up on some housework, read a book and generally just enjoyed a slow, semi unplugged weekend without my camera (yep, still working on that balance thing we talked about!) How did you spend your long weekend?

This week I’m back at it — feeling refreshed, renewed and so excited to bring you another collaborative post in our ALL ABOUT series where Rebecca Dawn Design and I team up to educate you about everything you’ve ever wanted to know to know about a certain flower! In honour of love month, it’s been All About Roses here at JustineCelina and today we’re reintroducing you to February’s quintessential bloom, the rose. Learn about common and unique varieties, what to look for when purchasing roses, as well as how to care for and condition them so you can enjoy them for up to 14 days. Rebecca also shares her secret weapon for reviving droopy roses — you’re not going to want to miss it! There’s so much pretty in store for you today (did you know flowers are one of my favourite things to photograph?) as we take a closer look at Vendela, Quick Sand, Mother of Pearl, Cappuccino, Precious Moments and Roseberry rose varieties.
