PANTONE 2016 COLOURS OF THE YEAR INSPIRATION | ROSE QUARTZ & SERENITY

Last week, Pantone announced their colours of the year — they chose two colours for the first time in history! The official Colours of the Year for 2016 are Rose Quartz (a soft pastel pink), and Serenity (a periwinkle pastel blue). They provide a colour system that ensures colour translates accurately across all mediums, whether it be in fashion, beauty, print, or in design. Pantone also predicts colour trends, so I like to keep up with what they’re forecasting to stay ahead of the curve!

Our team worked with a colour palette of soft pink, with pops of navy blue and gold in a peaceful, snowy scene. It was also featured on Green Wedding Shoes — what an honour!

A VINTAGE CHRISTMAS COCKTAIL PARTY

This Vintage Cocktail Party to collaborate on with a very talented group of creatives. It all began with Rebecca’s vision to recreate a festive holiday scene inspired by a vintage illustration. A woman trims her tree with roses in a pink 1950’s ball gown (with a handsome man in the background!). As soon as I saw the illustration, I knew we were going to have a blast creating our version of a holiday cocktail party.
