SUMMER 2017 MEGA SHOE GUIDE | 30 PAIRS!

Shoe lovers, you’re in for a treat today! I’m thrilled to bring you my SUMMER 2017 MEGA SHOE GUIDE — the largest SHOE GUIDE yet here at JustineCelina including 30 pairs (yes, really!) of on trend shoe options for Summer 2017. I think it’s fair to say I’m a shoe girl! I love publishing shoe related content because it’s so inclusive — everyone looks and feels great in a fantastic pair of shoes. Shoes are my favourite accessory; the right pair totally completes an outfit and gives me an extra spring in my step! And not to worry — there are lots of flat, comfortable styles included as well. As I mentioned back in January, I’ve been on a mission to rebuild my wardrobe with quality basics this year, and I definitely identified a hole in my shoe wardrobe in the flat department. HOW TO STYLE | JUMPSUITS

It’s that magical time of year in Calgary. Flowers are still in bloom, the weather is mild and the leaves are just starting to yellow. I can’t complain about September’s temperatures so far (we enjoyed a glass of wine on the patio right after we shot this post), but there’s a definite crispness in the air and a few crunchy leaves at my feet. I personally love this time of year, especially for fashion. And while I’m not quite ready to embrace autumn’s knits, boots and scarves, I’ve been pairing my summer favourites with lighter layers and a more autumnal colour palette during this transitional month. Today’s post is another installment in my HOW TO STYLE series — where I’m chatting about how to style jumpsuits and culotte silhouettes. HERE COMES THE SUN

After 10 days of rain and some crazy storms here in Alberta, I took full advantage of a few brief days of sunshine earlier this week. Today I’m chatting about carefree summer style and my favourite easy pieces to wear on hot summer days. FAUX FUR + DISTRESSED DENIM

My personal style is pretty eclectic. I’m all about mixing it up! I get bored easily, and I like to wear a lot of different styles — that applies to both fashion and beauty. I’ve always been a bit of a chameleon, and I totally channel that into my look! I dress according to my mood, and have a lot of versatile piece in my closet that allow me to keep things fresh without having to buy a new wardrobe each season. I also like to mix high and low, old and new, and sophisticated with casual. That’s what today’s look is all about — I’m wearing plaid with patent, fringe with faux fur, and berry lips with boyfriend jeans! I think fashion should be fun, and I love combining different styles in unexpected ways.

COMFORT ZONE

Sometimes you just want to be really comfortable, am I right?! While I absolutely love dressing up, there are many occasions when I still want to look put together, but be comfortable and cozy (like a casual Thanksgiving dinner, for example — when I wore this exact outfit!). Today I’m chatting about my favourite comfortable, elevated basics for autumn. I love to add lots of texture and interest to my outfits with light layers and versatile accessories — my favourite pieces are made from soft, comfortable fabric, and their unique details make them more interesting than your basic leggings and oversized tee.
