Happy Canada Day Long weekend, beautiful people! Today I’m celebrating the first long weekend of Summer 2019 and my 400th blog post here at JustineCelina (isn’t that wild?!) with July 2019’s Free Desktop Wallpaper. DIGITAL BLOOMS JUNE 2019 | FREE DESKTOP WALLPAPER

Peony season is upon us once again — and this month at JustineCelina I’m celebrating one of my favourite flowers in all of their beautiful simplicity for June 2019’s DIGITAL BLOOMS! It looks like warmer weather is finally here to stay and Peonies have started to pop up in local flower markets and grocery stores (if you’re here in Calgary, be sure to stop into a Safeway to score Peonies at an incredible price!). The flower pictured in June 2019 Free Desktop Wallpaper actually came from my Mom’s country garden where I captured this design, inspired by sweet summer blooms dancing on the warm breeze!

My obsession with the Pantone’s SS19 Fashion Colour Trend Report continues this month (you’ll be hearing more about it in my upcoming SS19 Lookbook, dropping soon!) and I’m particularly intrigued by Sweet Lilac paired up with Pepper Stem. After the blur that was April, somehow it’s May 1st — and Rebecca Dawn Design and I are back with a fresh, free, floral tech wallpaper! Although we’ve been experiencing Calgary’s classic second winter as of late (insert eye roll), I’m eagerly anticipating balmy spring temperatures and find myself craving all things soft, dreamy and feminine. This month, we’ve created a simplistic, quintessentially spring design inspired by early seasonal blooms in sweet pastel shades complimented by earthy vines of green.

DIGITAL BLOOMS APRIL 2019 | FREE DESKTOP WALLPAPER + DIGITAL BLOOMS TURNS 3!

Rebecca Dawn Design and I are celebrating DIGITAL BLOOMS 3rd Birthday today with this ultra sweet, feminine design inspired by the shifting seasons and gorgeous springtime blooms! This series started as a fun, collaborative idea between friends to showcase seasonal flowers alongside colour trends in a unique and interesting way — and we never could have predicted its success. Over the past 3 years we’ve created a total of 103 free tech wallpapers for you to enjoy that have been downloaded over a million times — isn’t that wild?! Apparently spring is just around the corner — hey Calgary, did you get the memo?! While winter is still alive and well here on the Alberta prairies, Rebecca Dawn Design and I are eagerly awaiting spring’s arrival with the March 2019 edition of DIGITAL BLOOMS! This month’s design incorporates the best of both winter and spring to create a stunning juxtaposition of blooms, berries and greenery in an ethereal, pastel palette with a sprinkling of dramatic jewel tones. DIGITAL BLOOMS JANUARY 2019 | FREE DESKTOP WALLPAPER

Flower lovers, welcome back for the first post of 2018! Rebecca Dawn Design and I are kicking 2019 off with a fresh installment of DIGITAL BLOOMS celebrating the softer side of winter with a dreamy, neutral palette of blush, cream and sage juxtaposed with dramatic berry. We’re also dipping our toes into Pantone’s 2019 Colour of the Year, Living Coral — described as an animated and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge. Our beautiful Keira Garden Rose’s petals feature a kiss of this year’s hottest hue!

And now, for some blog housekeeping! In an effort to work smarter, streamline my workflows (more on this in an upcoming 2019 goals post) and keep my DIGITAL BLOOMS free, in 2019 I’ll be releasing one tech wallpaper each month here at JustineCelina, rather than the three I’ve offered previously. You can still expect this post on the first of each month, however, I’ll be focusing on creating three designs to represent each season.
