Welcome back, flower friends! Spring has finally sprung here in Calgary — and Rebecca Dawn Design and I are celebrating with another fresh, seasonally inspired edition of DIGITAL BLOOMS! This month, we focused on flowers, herbs and branches that have a wild, hand picked feeling inspired by the new growth of spring — including Pussy Willows, Delphinium, Acacia, Yellow Button and White Matricaria, Pom Pom Chrysanthemums and Lavender arranged with a sense of whimsy. We hope you enjoy May’s cheerful, free spirited designs as much as we enjoyed creating them!

DIGITAL BLOOMS APRIL 2018 | FREE DESKTOP WALLPAPERS + DIGITAL BLOOMS TURNS 2!

Happy April 1st, friends! Today marks 2 years since Rebecca Dawn Design and I teamed up to create the first edition of DIGITAL BLOOMS for you — that means we’ve created 72 free tech wallpapers to date! Rebecca and I started working together around my 1st Blogiversary to bring FLOWER content to JustineCelina and make flower education accessible — and we haven’t looked back since. Our free tech wallpapers have since become some of my most popular content — and we’re thrilled you enjoy them just as much as we enjoy creating them for you!

This month, we’ve gone monochromatic — and it’s all about lavender, shades of purple and the 2018 Pantone Colour of the Year, Ultra Violet! If you’re not quite convinced you can pull off one of spring’s hottest colour trends in your wardrobe (although, I bet you totally can!), why not take it for a test drive on the background of your computer, tablet or phone this month? DIGITAL BLOOMS MARCH 2018 | FREE DESKTOP WALLPAPERS

Spring is almost in the air… can you feel it?! Join Rebecca Dawn Design and I today in celebrating a new season with our March 2018 DIGITAL BLOOMS — inspired by Spring 2018’s vivacious selection of brights and pastels. Never before have I been so inspired by a colour palette (yep, the Pantone Spring 2018 Colour Trend Report is still giving me major heart eyes!) — I cannot wait to start wearing it and continuing to work with it across categories as the weather warms up (currently fantasizing about open toed shoes and dresses with bare legs!). Until then however, I’ll eagerly be awaiting spring’s arrival with a jubilant array of cheerful spring blooms and herbs — including these incredible, extremely rare lavender Garden Roses, Ranunculus, Lavender (which you’ll we learning more about this spring!), Alstroemeria, Matricaria, Asiatic Lilies, Ornithogalum, Double and Parrot Tulips (learn more about them here), Hyacinth, Pom Pom Chrysanthemums and Blue Delphinium. Sartorially, it’s all about the combination of brights with pastels as we transition into balmier weather — so why embrace the season’s colour trends on your digital devices as well?

DIGITAL BLOOMS FEBRUARY 2018 | FREE DESKTOP WALLPAPERS

Hey, hey flower friends! After my last post, I’m very excited to get some more lighthearted content out today! Love month is upon us — and Rebecca Dawn Design are celebrating the best way we know how — by sharing 3 free, Valentine’s Day inspired floral tech wallpapers with you! Last February, we created a special Love Edition set of DIGITAL BLOOMS prominently featuring roses — and they’ve become our most downloaded set to date. Due to overwhelming popularity, we’re keeping the love inspired theme going this year — but we’re working with more than just roses! This February, we’re combined a beautiful array of Spray Roses (learn more about them here), Panda Anemones, Dahlias, Astilbe, Astrantia, Ruby Silk Grass, Thrytptomene and Blushing Bride blooms in a dreamy, pastel palette.

As you’ve probably read, I’ve embraced the Pantone Spring 2018 Colour Trend Report this year and am feeling so inspired by blush shades and spring pastels (there will definitely be a theme here at JustineCelina this month!). Flower lovers, welcome back for the first post of 2018! And what better way to usher in a new year than with a brand new digital wallpaper for your devices? Friends, the last month of 2017 is upon us (say what?!?!) and that means it’s time for an extra festive edition of DIGITAL BLOOMS to send 2016 off in style! Join Rebecca Dawn Design and I in welcoming winter with a fresh selection of seasonal flowers and whimsical, holiday inspired designs. This time we’re highlighting the cooler side of the PANTONE Fall 2017 Fashion Color Report — including luxe, velvety hues of Tawny Port, Ballet Slipper, Navy Peony, Golden Lime and Marina. We hope you enjoy this refreshing change of pace from the warm, autumnal palettes we’re been working with for the last few months! December 2017’s Digital Blooms feature some of our favourite winter flowers, foliage and berries — including Anenomies, Asclepias, Astilbe, Astrantia, Knifeblade Acacia, Liqustrom, Ruby Silk Grass, Sedum and Spray Roses. Our featured Christmas tree design is also a nod to Pantone’s Colour of the Year for 2017, Greenery. It was a shade I really enjoyed working with across categories here at JustineCelina this year and can’t wait for the 2018 Colour of the Year announcement (I have a feeling it’s going to be in the red family — keep your eyes peeled to my socials over the next week or so, I’ll share the news as soon as I find out!).
