Detoxifying Watermelon Mint Limeade //


I've been eating so much watermelon lately! I can't help it, it's just so delicious and hydrating. Today I'm sharing a simple juice recipe that involves a whole lotta watermelon -- and all you need are 4 ingredients to make my Detoxifying Watermelon Mint Limeade! I've also been catching a lot of hot yoga classes lately, and indulging in a big glass of this juice after practice to rehydrate and help detoxify. Also, how gorgeous is this colour combination?

  • 6 cups watermelon
  • Half an English cucumber
  • 2 limes
  • 8 mint leaves


  1. Start with chilled produce.
  2. Chop all ingredients into 1" pieces.
  3. Add chopped ingredients one at a time to your Hurom Slow Juicer (or similar), starting with an ingredient that isn't as juicy (like mint), and alternating with an ingredient that makes lots of juice (like watermelon). This will ensure that the juicy ingredients flush the not-so-juicy ingredients through the juicer and you'll get more of them in your cup!
  4. Serve over ice, and garnish with a slice of lime or a sprig of mint, and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

This juice also makes a delicious summer cocktail when mixed with vodka! Just add crushed ice and vodka to a martini shaker, pour in your fresh juice, shake, strain and serve in a martini glass.
