Who’s ready for a fresh new playlist to welcome autumn? My September Soundtrack has you covered with just under 4 hours of new tunes! September was a really busy month for me and I’m constantly listening to music while I’m working on various projects — this has been my background music all month long and it’s also the music that’s been playing in my Instagram Stories if you’ve been following along! It’s great music to work, think and create to. A few standout tracks this month include a really dreamy, stripped down cover of The Smashing Pumpkin’s 1979 (my name is the lyrics!), Kasbo’s remix of Mutemath’s Monument, MOOD ROBOT’s Ghost, Attom & Ciele’s Afterglow, Softer Still’s New Age, Bird Passenger’s Cabin Fever, Zammuto’s My Dog’s Eyes and Bon Iver’s new track 33 “GOD” (I could go on!). I’ve also included a few other tracks from MOOD ROBOT — I’m a huge fan of their sound and all of their albums! Come hang out for awhile and treat your ears to 58 fresh tracks this fall.
Craving more tunes? Here’s a link to last month’s soundtrack, or you can also listen to the playlist on Spotify. I’ve also populated each of my Monthly Soundtracks for the past year to my Spotify profile, for your listening pleasure. Or your can also browse the MUSIC section here on JustineCelina — I have a year and a half playlists!
This month’s album cover is an excerpt from my Pre Fall Transitional Style post, where I preview some of the seasons biggest trends and translate them into an outfit you can wear right now! It was taken on one of my favourite streets in Calgary.
Did you catch my most recent Mini Mountain Getaway post? We hit the open road last weekend for a wine picnic with our gorgeous VQ Radio — hop over there for a bit of digital tranquility and more music talk!
What have you guys been listening to this month? Leave me your recommendations in the comments, I’d love to hear from you! Do you use Spotify? If you do, feel free to drop some links to your playlists, or playlists / artists you think I’d enjoy.
