Need to make a last minute dessert this weekend? Whip up my Vegan Dark Chocolate Dipped Strawberries in ten minutes or less, with only 4 ingredients (including the strawberries) that I bet you already have in your kitchen! They’re super clean, made with natural ingredients, vegan, dairy free and gluten free.
VEGAN DARK CHOCOLATE DIPPED STRAWBERRIES
This recipe makes enough to dip one pint of strawberries, with some leftover for a chocolatey spread. The mixture cools to a spreadable consistency so you can enjoy it on toast, pancakes, or whatever your little heart desires. I make this sauce often and drizzle it over banana ice cream, frozen yogurt, and use it as a dip. It keeps in a jar with an airtight lid for about a week, no need to refrigerate. This also makes a cute gift idea!
Ingredients
• Pint of strawberries
• 1/4 cup organic virgin coconut oil
• 1/4 cup organic cocoa powder
• 1/8 cup pure maple syrup
Instructions
1. Add coconut oil to a bowl and microwave for 40 seconds — the oil should be warm and completely transparent.
2. Add cocoa powder, stirring until smooth.
3. Add maple syrup, stirring constantly until mixture has the consistency of melted chocolate.
4. Dip the strawberries into the chocolate mixture, working quickly while the mixture is still warm and liquid.
5. Then, dip your berries into coconut flakes or other toppings while chocolate is still warm.
6. These strawberries can be refrigerated for a few hours, overnight, or enjoyed right away!
Note: You can reheat the mixture once it’s cooled to room temperature, but you can only do this once. Microwave the mixture for about 10 seconds to re-liquify. This mixture scorches very easily when reheated, so be careful.

Love this! Simple idea but the photos are gorgeous!
Wow, you’re WAY back in my archives! This was one of my first blog posts back in 2015 when I used to take all my photos on my iPhone and crop them to a square format (but the recipe is tasty and I still eat this often). Haha! But thank you — I appreciate the kind comment and look forward to seeing you around! 🙂
